Pride

Pride can be a bad and a good thing. The higher in society you get, the lower your pride must be. On the other hand, you must also respect yourself and others. There are always some people that I always respect having a good status in society or a group... but they never show their abilities and what they're capable of and even saying I'm just a small one in the society.. let go your pride and ego, be humble... you'll gain respect and admiration in society that you never expected. "groups that expressed pride by humbly focusing on members' efforts and hard work tended to have high social standing in both the public and personal eyes." Where you stand today depend on thousands of people back there to support you.

RIP Yasmin

I never bought original Malaysia made album or movie or even drama.
But, I realised that the one I once bought was the Siti Nurhasliza album & Sepet.
The only songs and show that I wanted to buy to keep.

I didn't know the news of Yasmin Ahmad till two days ago.

Some of her works :-

Seek for time, freedom, enjoyment...

I found a room last friday at blk 129 bukit merah view....
It's just 2 traffic lights away from my work place...
The room was very super small but you can sleep in it of course.
The room is what they called 'utility room' in other words store room converted into a bedroom.
The rent for the room including utilities is $370 which I think is worth it for the moment.
It do not have much furniture only a 2 tier long drawer, those which you can put in your clothes.
Maybe I need to get some furniture such as wardrobe and bookrack or storage box under the bed to fit in my stuff...
It's very convenient, near to the MRT, market place, hawker stall, work place, etc.
I can save at least $100+ from transportation and now I can have my own space.

I don't think it's a good choice to stay with my relatives for long term.
People just grow somedays...

Am I well-equipped enough?

Since the pay-cut announced yesterday, I kept on wondering... am I well-equipped enough with this economic recession that will last for more than 9 months? or maybe last till 2010?
These questions keep on pop out in my mind...and I kept on thinking these questions...
- What if few months later we lost our job?
- How are we going to survive if the economic depression goes on for more than a year?
- How long does it takes to recover?
- How the price will goes up once the economic recover? Things are going to get expensive...
- Should I invest in house now? Is it a right time?
- How much should I save for the future?
- I earned a fix income a month and the expenses keep getting higher with all the prices getting higher eg. petrol, food, etc.
haiz~~~~
No money no talk~~~ haiz... sienz.... how come got Great Depression one?
